Saarinen Dining Table Ø137cm

The Saarinen Dining Table Ø137cm has been created by Eero Saarinen for the brand Knoll International. The late Finnish-American architect and industrial designer Saarinen had an architectural approach to design that led him to create sculptural pieces with perfect lines and curves. The bistro-style table has a round top and a matching base. The two are joined with a flute-shaped column that broadens out at the bottom to form the round base. It is made of light but durable satin-smooth laminate while the base is made of heavy molded cast aluminum that is finished to match the tabletop. The base has an attached sub-top underneath the tabletop. The table has Certified Clean Air GOLD which is Sustainable Design and Environmental Certification.
