Womb Chair Relax Frame Black

The stylish Womb Chair Relax frame black was designed by the Finnish designer Eero Saaeinen for the manufacturing label Knoll International.

Saarinen was thrust into the limelight during the 1940s, when his designs won first prize in the Museum of Modern Art sponsored Organic Design in Home Furnishings competition. He took a sculptural approach to furniture design, creating hundreds of full-scale models of each piece in order to find the perfect curve, line and most pleasing proportions before finalising the design.

The Womb Chair Relax frame black has a graceful frame made from chrome plated steel. With a width of 105cm, depth of 94cm, back rest height of 92cm and seat height of 43.5cm, it offers comfortable sitting. The exquisitely rounded seat shell is covered in comfortable foam which is upholstered in luxurious fabric. With a cushion on the seat shell and a padded back rest, it ensures a high level of comfort and relaxation to the user. The Womb Chair Relax frame black is aesthetically simple yet elegant.
