Paolo Zani is a prolific designer in the fields of product design and home technology. Born in Cesena in 1960, Paolo is a graduate of the prestigious I.S.I.A. in Faenza. He presently lives and works in Milan. Kristalia is an Italian brand based in the Friuli region. Started by a group of friends in 1994, the design brand is known for combining traditional styles with innovative and increasingly complex technologies.

Inspired by traditional Indian art and craftsmanship, the Mustache Outdoor Rug 200x300cm has a tasselled finish and is hand-woven in the region surrounding Varanasi, the holy city on the banks of the Ganges river. Designed to be used indoors as well as outdoors, the rug is made from high-quality polypropylene yarns. It is highly resistant to wind, rain and UV rays, making it ideal for picnics or a lazy day at the park. The robust material means the rug can also be used in humid areas such as swimming pools, steam rooms or saunas. Due to the traditional Indian hand loom weaving technique, each rug is slightly different and therefore unique.
