The PH 3 1/2 - 2 1/2 Glass Table Lamp was designed by Poul Henningsen for the brand Louis Poulsen.

Both Henningsen and Poulsen are huge names in Danish design. Henningsen was a writer, architect and product designer whose major passion was experimenting with light and shade to conjure up magical atmospheres. Louis Poulsen is a brand that has been creating gorgeous lighting and furniture for over 100 years, and the two regularly worked together.

The PH 3 1/2 - 2 1/2 Glass Table Lamp is typical of their relationship, featuring beautiful looks and exceptional technical quality. The most striking aspect of the PH 3 1/2 - 2 1/2 Glass Table Lamp is its diffuser. Made from 3 concentric blown-glass bowls, it creates a gentle light which still manages to spread widely - ideal for working on large documents. The lamp stands 46.5cm tall, is 33cm wide, and is supplied with a 250cm cable. Underneath the shade, Henningsen added a spine resembling a vintage street light, which complements the opal glass of the diffuser beautifully. The lamp needs an E14 bulb.
