In 1978, three prominent Italian designers, including Riccardo Sarfatti, founded the Luceplan company. Today, its products embody purity of design and delicacy of structure, combined with durability and superb workmanship. The geometric shapes of the Luceplan light fittings and their gentle colouring feature in the finest interiors worldwide, both domestic and commercial.

The Queen Titania suspension kit embodies this graceful modernity. Named after William Shakespeare's midsummer fairy, the "Queen Titania" is both subtle and strong, enabling light fittings to float gracefully. The modern householder is aware that intelligent lighting is essential to great design; the globe is made of aluminium and acts as a reflector of the other colours and shades within the interior, while the connecting cord is adjustable to measure between 50cm and 250cm. In addition to this reflector function, the aluminium globe adds an interesting focus to otherwise bland conductor cords. It is this subtle design that makes it so versatile, rendering it inconspicuous when used with other Luceplan fittings.
