Magis Chair First

The Magis Chair First was designed by Stefano Giovannoni for the Italian furniture manufacturer Magis.

Italian designer Giovannoni graduated in architecture from Florence University, later becoming a designer and architecture lecturer. He specialises in attractive plastic products and has achieved huge commercial success with his stylish designs, which have won awards including the Good Design Award in 2010 and the New York Interior Design Award in 2012. His designs are hallmarked by their smooth lines and chic Italianate aesthetic.

The Magis Chair First earned designer Giovannoni a nomination for the Compasso d'Oro ADI Design Prize. This stylish contemporary chair is made of durable and robust polypropylene, which offers easy care and resistance to stains. The chair's legs are constructed with glass fibres to provide reinforcement, as well as a stacking design that allows up to 10 chairs to be stored on top of each other for maximum space saving.

With dimensions of 52 cm length by 50 cm width and 78 cm height, and a seat height of 46 cm, the chair offers comfortable support and is suitable for use in both indoor and outdoor areas. The chic block-colour aesthetic and minimalist design make this chair an all-rounder that complements a wide variety of decor styles.
