Babele Suspension Lamp

The Babele Suspension Lamp has been created by Marc Sadler for the label Martinelli Luce. Italian industrial designer Sadler's design process is guided and inspired by intellectual curiosity and a lifelong passion for painting and drawing. This and an innovative and experimental approach leads to pieces with striking aesthetic appeal and optimised functionality. His ingenuity is clear to see in the Babele Suspension Lamp. This hemisphere-shaped lamp is made of aluminum. The exterior of the shade has a rustic, industrial look with random lines running along and across it. It also has a textured mica-like appearance. The inside of it is gold-toned so it casts a direct, warm light with a golden hue. The shade is suspended from the ceiling with a mix of straight and curved steel cables which enhances the industrial look.

The Babele Suspension Lamp comes in three different sizes. The largest has a height of 92cm and a diameter of 53cm. The medium one has a height of 65cm and a diameter of 37cm while the small one has a height of 45cm and a diameter of 26cm. It is not dimmable. The appropriate bulb with the E27 socket can be ordered under accessories.
