Rock Bar Table Ø80cm

The Rock Bar Table was designed by French design pioneer Jean-Marie Massaud for furniture manufacturer MDF Italia.

Having graduated in 1990 from Ecole Nationale Superieure de Creation Industrielle in Paris, Massaud worked in Asia and France prior to founding his own office in Paris in 1994. His design ethic is centred on shaping humans and their surrounding environment through creative and ingenious designs. As an inventor as well as a designer, he has a depth of understanding in the function of furniture pieces that shines through his intelligent pieces.

The Rock Bar Table provides a stylish option for bars, restaurants and any other indoor spaces. The base is constructed in UHPFRC concrete, a hybrid of concrete and fibres that delivers improved strength, durability and sustainability - an updated use of concrete in the modern world. This piece has a tabletop diameter of 80cm, a compact surface that is ideal for resting drinks or enjoying appetisers whilst waiting to be seated. The height of 110cm is ideal for use with high bar stools or whilst standing. A stylish neutral colour palette lends versatility that complements any style of décor, while the tabletop is fabricated in sturdy MD wood fibre that is easy to maintain and keep clean.
