Moooi has been creating top-quality furniture, lighting and home accessories since 2001. The company has stated that its products are daring and playful while retaining grace and style. The Bell Lamp Suspension Lamp is the brainchild of Marcel Wanders, who is one of the founders of the design house as well as the creative director and a designer. Wanders is a graduate of the ArtEZ Institute of the Arts, and his work is internationally known, with the New York Times giving him the moniker of 'the Lady Gaga of Design'.

The Bell Lamp Suspension Lamp is a delightful mixture of both classic and modern styles, and it is understated but with a hint of fun and luxury. The shade itself is created from opaque glass and has a traditional bell shape. On top of the bell is detailing in the shape of a bow, which adds interest and catches the eye. It has a cable that attaches to the ceiling with a circular base and measures 23cm in height, 24cm in diameter, has a suspension length of 400cm and foot diameter of 22cm.
