Perch Light Branch Large LED Suspension Lamp

The Perch Light Branch Large LED Suspension Lamp has been created by Umut Yamac for the brand Moooi. Perch has been inspired by the beauty and charisma of birds, and each design in the series features a folded paper bird figure. In this case, Yamac has created a pendant lamp which features a series of 5 birds, all perched on top of a slender horizontal section. The result is original, visually striking and offers excellent illumination for rooms around the home.

The folded birds of the Perch Light Branch Large LED Suspension Lamp are formed from PP synthetic paper, which can be easily manipulated, resists heat, and allows light to pass through to create a muted glow. The folds generate a pattern of shadows, while aluminium frameworks provide additional support. The white surface of the birds also contrasts neatly with the brass perch which runs across the design.

The Perch Light Branch Large LED Suspension Lamp has a height of 51cm and measures 100cm wide. It connects to a 35cm diameter ceiling canopy which anchors the design discretely, letting the birds command attention. The birds also rock gently when touched, giving the lamp even more character and visual appeal.
