Perch Light LED Wall Lamp

The Perch Light LED Wall Lamp has been created by Umut Yamac for the brand Moooi. Yamac's Perch light is a playful masterpiece. Released in 2016, the lamp was inspired by the designer's affection for the birds which visited his inner-city garden. Fusing natural forms with origami aesthetics, he came up with a lamp which has enthralled owners since its introduction.

The Perch Light LED Wall Lamp is centred around a bird which has been sculpted from pure polypropylene and resembles the animals crafted by Japanese origami masters. Acting as the diffuser and main decorative element, the bird doesn't sit still. Instead, it gently sways on its perch, adding a wonderfully charismatic touch to the overall design. It connects to a round base made from steel and aluminium, anchoring the design effectively.

The Perch Light LED Wall Lamp protrudes 18cm from the wall and is 25cm wide. Two heights are available, measuring either 41cm or 51cm tall. Each comes with a cable attached, which also holds the main switch for the lamp. Finally, the lamp includes a highly efficient LED bulb inside the bird sculpture.
