Kant Desk

The Kant Desk has been created by Patrick Frey & Markus Boge for the brand Moormann. For this piece, the design duo have been recognised with awards that include the Good Design Award 2003, The Chicago Athenæum and the Internationaler Designpreis Baden-Württemberg 2003, Focus Balance in Silber.

The sleek and simple Kant Desk is notable for its distinctive sloping edge, which allows books, files and desk items to be stored in the tabletop kink so that the work surface can remain clean and uncluttered. This gives the piece an elevated sense of functionality whilst being subtly eye-catching for its unusual design and high-end workmanship.

The Moorman Kant Desk is made from an FU Multiplex top and maple wood legs. It is available in a range of subtle colourways and finishes. The piece has a width of 190cm, a depth of 105cm and a height of 74cm, making it generously sized for all types of work and play. The Kant Desk can be accessorised with a complementary clip-on task light which attaches to the edge of the table for focus lighting. Some basic assembly is required to screw the tabletop to the legs with an Allen key.
