The stylish Grain Suspension Lamp was created by Swedish designer Jens Fager for leading manufacturer Muuto.

The company gets its name from the Danish word 'Muutos', meaning 'new perspective'. It's this new perspective that the company is incorporating into their designs to create innovative, practical and eye-catching products. By working with a range of talented designers they are able to take everyday items and inject a new twist into the designs.

The Grain Suspension Lamp brings a new perspective to the simple pendant lampshade. Exciting new materials bring warmth and and character to the lamp shade. Bamboo fibers and polypropylene are combined for an unusual, textured finish. The tiny grains of fibre throughout the shade give subtle differences in the colour, and the matt finish completes the warm and soft appearance. The rubber cable finished in the same colour, acts as a continuation of the light, extending its continuity to the ceiling.

The Grain Suspension Lamp from Muuto is 18.5cm in height and 21cm in diameter. This compact light shade can be used individually or in a group consisting of several identical shades to illuminate any interior, whether public or private.
