The Material The Originals Table Lamp Terracotta has been created by Martin Kechayas and Christian Nørgaard for the brand New Works. Material is a collection of lamps from New Works which showcase the qualities of natural materials. In this case, the designers have crafted a gorgeous table lamp from richly coloured terracotta ceramics.

The Material The Originals Table Lamp Terracotta makes an immediate impact thanks to its red diffuser. Made from terracotta, this diffuser has a cork-like shape and an aluminium white inner surface. This reflects light downwards, creating a bright beam for table work, while keeping glare extremely low. The diffuser connects to a powder coated steel frame, which in turn is anchored by a round steel base.

The Material The Originals Table Lamp Terracotta measures 45cm high and is 25cm deep and 19cm wide. The base features a three step dimmer, while the lamp includes a 180cm long PVC covered cable and the whole design weighs 3kg - light enough to handle with ease. The diffuser of the lamp accommodates a single bulb. Bulbs are not included and the appropriate bulb with an E14 socket can be ordered under accessories.
