Amp Wall Lamp

The Amp Wall Lamp has been created by Simon Legald for the brand Normann Copenhagen. Danish industrial designer Legald was inspired by the glow emitted by a tube amplifier when he was restoring an old 1960s radio. Always striving to represent both tradition and modernity in his designs, he did so perfectly with this lamp which he christened amp, short for tube amplifier. The Amp Wall Lamp has parts made of polished marble and a shade fashioned from stained glass. The marble has been used to make a cork-shaped support that connects the cable and the oval-shaped shade. The cable goes into a canopy made of powder-coated metal that goes to the ceiling. Inside the shade is a decorative bulb that casts a stunning light through the coloured shade. When it is lit, the lamp has a pure and surreal, almost ghostly appearance.

The Amp Wall Lamp has a length of 11cm, a height of 30.5cm and a depth of 17cm. Its cable is 200cm long. It is dimmable. The lamp can either be installed to a power outlet directly or connected to a socket using the cable. The appropriate bulb with the E14 socket can be ordered under accessories.
