Pind Chair

The Pind Chair has been created by Simon Legald for the brand Normann Copenhagen. This collection draws inspiration from Shaker furniture of the 19th century. The chair represents a contemporary interpretation of the classic "shaker" style.The name "Pind" derives from the Danish word for dowel, referring to the distinctive wooden bars of the backrests.

Crafted from high-quality ash wood with a lacquered finish, the Pind Chair impresses with durable robustness. The combination of contemporary silhouettes and timeless elegance pays homage to the artistry of traditional woodworking. Its gently concave and generously rounded seat slopes slightly backward. The curved chair back is also inclined backward, providing the Pind Chair with comfortable seating. Noticeably, the rear legs are positioned in the opposite direction, ensuring high stability for the chair. Crafted from high-quality ash wood with a lacquered finish, the Pind Chair impresses with durable robustness. The seat is made of ash veneer, displaying an attractive grain pattern.

The Pind Chair weighs 5.8kg and has a width of 50cm, a depth of 52cm, a seat height of 46cm. Its overall height is 81cm. This chair is available in various coloures.
