Rise Wall Lamp Hardwired Stainless Steel

The Rise Wall Lamp Hardwired Stainless Steel has been created by Marianne Andersen for the brand Normannn Copenhagen. It is a play of shapes that combine to form a creative and unique lamp. The same approach has been taken with the materials used for production which contrast against each other.

The Rise Wall Lamp Hardwired Stainless Steel has a round shade made of powder-coated steel. It has a steel cylinder-shaped support at the back that goes into another one made of ash wood. Its warm, gold-toned grain looks striking against the metal. The wooden support goes into a round metallic wall plate that hides the wiring. The shade is white inside so it casts a similarly shaped light. The arm that connects it to the wall is movable by up to 350 degrees using a small built-in handle so light can be cast directly or indirectly. Small perforations on top of the shade also cast light upwards. The lamp is turned on and off with a switch on the power outlet.

The Rise Wall Lamp Hardwired Stainless Steel has a length of 19cm, a width of 11cm and a height of 12cm. It comes in neutral colours and cannot be dimmed. It is compatible with an E14 socket and a bulb has to be purchased separately.
