Buddy Floor Lamp

The Buddy Floor Lamp has been created by Mads Sætter-Lassen for the brand Northern. Danish industrial designer Mads Sætter-Lassen is a strong advocate of democratic design. This means designs that are simple and functional with beauty that comes from the strength and integrity of the materials they are made out of rather than from unnecessary embellishment. The Buddy Floor Lamp accurately depicts how he approaches design. It is a play of shapes and sizes with a bell-shaped diffuser made of lacquered steel and a base of the same shape but with larger dimensions. The two are joined by a short arm that goes from the diffuser and then a long tubular stem that goes into the base. The multi-directional shade can be turned to either side and upwards or downwards to cast light exactly where it is needed. The light's intensity can be adjusted using the dimmer switch located on its base.

The Buddy Floor Lamp has a height of 130cm and a width of 22cm. The base has a width of 12.2cm and the shade has a width of 7cm. The lamp is available in an assortment of neutral and earth-tone colours. The appropriate bulb with the GU10 socket can be ordered under accessories.
