It has a solid, thick base that has a shell made of plywood. The wood is thickly padded with cold foam to provide a soft yet firm surface to sit or lie on. The base is upholstered with fabric from the top-of-the-line Kvadrat range that is soft, strong and durable. The sofa has a backrest that has the shape of a bolster pillow. It is supported by a frame that is made of powder-coated steel.
