This unique piece of designer furniture showcases the creativity of its designer, which is evident in the imposing and seemingly gravity-defying lines of this book stand. At 35 x 35 x 215 cm, the Ptolomeo Book Stand 215 stands high and mighty while bringing a delightful touch of the chaotically rigorous style that characterises Rainaldi's work. This vertical bookcase features a robust stainless steel base and body but manages to appear conspicuously absent, so that all attention is focused on the books it holds. Its capacity can easily be increased to suit your needs with the addition of matching accessories like the Ptolomeo compartments.

The Ptolomeo Book Stand 215 is inspired by the architectural wonders of ancient Egypt, with its majestic design lines reminiscent of the columns at the Philae temple. First introduced to the market at the 2002 Milan Design Show, the book stand was awarded the ADI Compasso d'Oro design prize in 2004. Since then, it has remained a highly sought-after designer furniture item that will bring a touch of innovative sophistication to living rooms, studios, conservatories, and home offices alike.
