Hiding Lady Table Lamp

The Hiding Lady Table Lamp has been created by Minke Van Voorthuizen for the brand Pols Potten. The Dutch designer has an organic style that uniquely combines uncommon forms defined by unexpected twists in the details. That is certainly true of the playful and humorous Hiding Lady Table Lamp.

This lamp consists of a female figure whose head is concealed underneath a lamp shade. The undressed lady is made from pure biscuit porcelain and forms the body of the lamp, while the circular step that she stands on is also made from porcelain and doubles up as the base. The shade has a conventional cone shape, making a witty counterpoint to the highly unusual sculpture that it hides.

The Hiding Lady Table Lamp has a height of 59cm and a diameter of 20cm. Its cable is 180cm long and includes the on/off switch, while the base has a diameter of 9cm.
