The Lounge Chair Fabric was designed by Herbert Hirche for the brand Richard Lampert.
German brand Richard Lampert boasts an unwavering and impeccable approach to clean design, ensuring every product features 'not too much, but just enough', resulting in a minimalist, functional range with subtle, soulful twists. As well as creating modern designs, the brand has reinvented classic and lesser-known designs such as the Bauhaus-inspired Lounge Chair, for which Herbert Hirche designed the prototype back in 1955. The chair was only brought to true fruition in 2000, giving it the recognition it deserves.
The chair aids true relaxation, with the highest levels of stability. Made in a low-slung design with a cushioned, fabric-upholstered square-shaped seat and back, the seat slopes back just enough for the sitter to relax into. The frame is constructed from a steel tube, elegantly shaped to hold the pads in perfect position. The seat is upholstered in a Designer Guild fabric and is also available in leather and cowhide. A perfect reading chair, the Lounge Chair Fabric is ideally placed in a living area, study, conservatory or bedroom; anywhere relaxation is key. It has dimensions of 56 x 57 x 80 cm.
