August Lounge Chair

The August Lounge Chair has been created by Vincent Van Duysen for the brand Serax. The designer is known for puristic forms. He creates his pieces with clean, crisp lines. They create silhouettes that are not only sleek and uncluttered but also timeless.

While keeping forms pure, he does give them a twist. With the August Lounge Chair,he does this with dimensions that are larger than standard. The backrest is quite wide and is quite curved on the sides. The seat is also generously sized. Armrests on either side enhance the chair's comfort. The shell sits on a base made of tubular rods. They have been shaped into straight front legs and two at the back that are curved. The chair is made of aluminium which is lightweight, strong and long-lasting. It is finished with powder coating so the chair can be used indoors and outdoors.

The August Lounge Chair has a width of 64cm, a height of 70cm and a depth of 60cm. Its seat height is 33.5cm. It comes in neutral and earth-toned colours. A weatherproof seating pad that is foam-filled and upholstered is available for purchase separately. Bar stools, side tables, dining tables, benches and sun loungers are some of the items available in the collection that can be used to put together a coordinated set.
