Product description

The Noomi String Armchair has been created by Susanne Grønlund for the brand Softline. Danish industrial designer Grønlund focuses on two things in her work: form and function. She works and reworks a design until these come together uniquely, beautifully and functionally. The Noomi String Armchair bears testimony to this. It won her the 2017 Good Design Award and the German Design Award a year later. Sitting on it, you will feel like a bird perching on a branch in a tree. This is thanks to the tubular legs that appear small and delicate even with the generously sized chair atop them. This chair has an unconventional profile because of the gracefully curved backrest that appears to recline backwards. The seat that broadens out from the backrest is generously sized and topped by a plush cushion. This creates an overall look of a warm, cosy, inviting chair.

The Noomi String Armchair has a width of 84cm, a height of 90cm and a depth of 76cm. It has a seat height of 41cm. It is upholstered in premium quality fabric that combines ninety two percent new wool and eight percent nylon. It is available in a selection of colours. This award-winning chair is as stylish as it is comfortable.
