The Bauhaus DMB 30 Ceiling Lamp has been created by Marianne Brandt for the brand Tecnolumen. Possessing the minimalist modern aesthetics of the 1920s Bauhaus movement, the DMB 30 first appeared in 1926. Its streamlined form and sophisticated features still manage to impress, offering a pure, effective lighting option for homes and offices.
The Bauhaus DMB 30 Ceiling Lamp has a chrome brass structure which supports a glass cylinder and separate glass disc. Capable of producing a diffused light that spreads across relatively wide spaces, the lamp attaches to a series of hooks, making it easy to remove when changing bulbs and simplifying installation procedures.
The lamp weighs 6.7kg and measures 34cm high, with a diameter of 60cm. The disc shaped diffuser overlaps the main cylinder slightly, ensuring that there is no glare around the edges of the lamp, while the whole structure has been engineered to high standards, helping to avoid dust damage over long periods of use. Cleverly blending glass and metal with a series of geometric forms, the Bauhaus DMB 30 Ceiling Lamp remains a modern design classic. It accommodates a single LED bulb and the appropriate bulb with an E27 socket can be ordered under accessories
