The Wagenfeld WG 25 GL Table Lamp has been created by Wilhelm Wagenfeld for the brand Tecnolumen. Wagenfeld was one of the leading participants in the inter-war Bauhaus movement, and this self-named lamp was one of his signature creations. Tecnolumen have now brought the WG 25 back to life, allowing a new generation to experience its pure form and gorgeous illumination.
First introduced in 1924, the Wagenfeld WG 25 GL Table Lamp has a globe shaped diffuser which sits atop a metallic column and round base, creating the image of a trophy. The diffuser has been made from opal glass, the base is made from coloured glass, while the frame is fashioned from chromed brass, setting up an attractive contrast. When engaged, the lamp creates a warm glow which can be easily switched on or off via a cord on the underside of the diffuser.
The Wagenfeld WG 25 GL Table Lamp measures 36cm high, the diffuser has a diameter of 18cm, while the base diameter is 15.2cm. Power is supplied by a 250cm cable which is included with the product, and the lamp weighs an easy-to-handle 1.8kg. It uses a single LED bulb, and the appropriate bulb with an E27 socket can be ordered under accessories.
