The S 43 cantilever chair was designed in 1931 by Mart Stam for the German design house Thonet. The Thonet chair S43 is a straightforward design classics of the twentieth century.

The S 43 is a cantilever chair from Thonet, combining a steel tube frame with a seat and backrest made from wood. The striking design turns the Thonet chair from Mart Stam into a distinctive design classic with Bauhaus style.

The Thonet S 43 is a static masterpiece! The self-supporting frame of the Thonet chair is made of chromed steel tube and with its resilient runners provides seating comfort.

The S 43 cantilever chair is 44cm wide, 82cm high, 52cm deep and has a seat height of 46cm. The Thonet cantilever made of steel pipe is a design classic from Thonet impressing with outstanding quality!
