Dreh Basic Module

The Dreh Basic Module has been created by Eigenwert for the brand Tojo. This module was awarded the Interior Innovation Award in 2014. It was also nominated for a German Design Award in 2015. It is made of oak and steel which guarantee strength and durability.

The Dreh Basic Module has two parts. The upper one has a long shelf that is made of steel. Underneath it, there are three slabs of wood that are on either end of the shelf and in the middle. These vertical slabs hold items such as books in place. The lower part of the shelf is its base. It also has a shelf made of powder-coated steel with short, vertical wooden slabs that work as the module's legs. These wooden legs have magnets integrated into them to give the unit enhanced strength and stability. The module is expanded with Dreh extension modules that are stacked on it to the desired dimensions.

The Dreh Basic Module has a width of 141cm, a height of 44cm and a depth of 34cm. The metal shelves are powder coated in white while the oak supports have been left in their natural state. This creates a subtle aesthetic that accompanies the module's minimalistic design well.
