The Plane Drop Chandelier was created by Tom Dixon for his own Tom Dixon label.

This innovative designer launched his uniquely British brand in 2002 and has received several awards for his work. In 2019 he was awarded the London Design Medal by the Land Celebration of Design. Dixon has showrooms in some of the world's major cities, with his headquarters being located in the Coal Office, Kings Cross, London.

The Plane Drop Chandelier is one of the designer's eye catching, statement lighting fixtures and is made from brass plated steel, combined with glass spheres. This impressive chandelier has a vertical drop and is the ideal statement for reception areas, an atrium, or staircases. The light has 15 lacquered glass spheres, creating warm illumination at night while additionally providing drama to spaces in daylight. The glass spheres rotate from the golden brass stem of the chandelier to provide an appealing feature. This illuminaire measures 45 x 45 x 160 cm and weighs 11.8kg. It is suspended from a black cable and has a brass effect ceiling rose. This dimmable light requires 15 halogen pin, 25W light bulbs that must be ordered separately.
