Fly SC10 Chair

The Fly SC10 Chair has been created by Space Copenhagen for the brand &Tradition. Danish design studio Space Copenhagen has an approach to design they call Poetic Modernism. It is all about balancing opposites like classic and contemporary, industrial and organic, sculptural and minimalistic, light and dark. Their design ethos and talent can be seen in the Fly SC10 Chair. Made of solid oak and oak veneer, it is made by hand using traditional woodworking which balances the contrasts of classic and contemporary and industrial and organic. The oak is finished with a white or smoked oiled finish. The backrest is curved inwards and has rounded bars that join it to a seat that is comprised of a rectangular panel of the same wood. The bars are functional and also decorative. On the backrest and seat are cushions stuffed with HR foam and feathers. The loose cushions can be reclined as desired. They are upholstered in fabric from the Romo, Kvadrat, Dedar, JAB or Nevotex brands of upholstery fabrics.

The Fly SC10 Chair has a height of 53cm, a width of 75cm and a depth of 75cm. It has a seating height of 40cm and a seating depth of 54cm. It is available in a selection of different colours.
