Product description

The Herman SHY3 Table Lamp has been created by Signe Hytte for the brand &Tradition. It is named after prominent Danish author Herman Bang whose life and work left a lasting legacy. He is remembered for writing on issues that other authors avoided.

The Herman SHY3 Table Lamp has an umbrella-shaped shade that is made of mouth-blown opal glass. It is supported by a spun walnut stem that is narrow at the top, thick in the middle and tapered towards the bottom. It is finished with a protective oil coating and a metallic ring that matches the ones on the sides of the shade. The wood grain and the rich earthy colour of the wood make a stunning contrast with the glass shade. The stem is anchored by a round base that is made of stone.

The Herman SHY3 Table Lamp has a length of 25cm, a width of 25cm and a height of 36cm. Its cable which is made of fabric has a length of 200cm. The lamp's light intensity can be adjusted via a dimmer located on the cable. It works with an E14 socket. Wherever it is placed, this lamp will add not only light but also timeless elegance.
