The Welle 4 Sofa Element was created by Verner Panton for legendary design company Verpan.
Verpan was founded by Verner Panton, and takes its name from the celebrated architect. He died in 1998, but the brand has been reproducing some of his most popular designs since 2003. Born in 1926 in Denmark, Verner Panton is still known as one of the world's most influential designers, for his contribution to 20th century furniture and interior design. Some of his most popular early designs were the Topan lamp, and the Moon lamp.
