The EA 222 Soft Pad Aluminium Chair Leather has been created by Ray & Charles Eames for the brand Vitra.This chair, originally designed in 1969, continues to attract demand and appreciation. This is thanks to the combination of its luxurious look and supreme comfort.

The EA 222 Soft Pad Aluminium Chair Leather has a high backrest that can be tilted to adjust the weight of the person seated on it. It has five cushions that are sewn onto it. Each one from the top is larger than the next which broadens the backrest so that it is as wide as the seat. They are filled with polyurethane foam and upholstered. The seat has a similar filling and is upholstered to match the backrest. Upholstery has been done with semi-aniline Nappa leather. It is manufactured using an eco-friendly tanning process and is soft, supple and long-lasting. This qualifies it for classification as a Sustainable Choice product. The shell has a base made of powder-coated aluminium. The armrests are finished to match. The base has four legs and other bars underneath the seat that reinforce it.

The EA 222 Soft Pad Aluminium Chair Leather has a width of 65cm, a height of 100.5cm and a depth of 80cm. Its seat height is 32.5cm. It is available in neutral and earthy colours.
