Product description

The Eames Plastic Armchair DAW RE Black Maple Base has been designed by Ray and Charles Eames for the brand Vitra. This piece sits within the iconic Vitra Eames Plastic Chair collection, which is based on the original design, updated with fresh colours, new materials, an adjusted seat height and the use of recycled post-consumer waste for a more sustainable manufacturing process.

The Eames Plastic Armchair DAW RE Black Maple Base is instantly recognisable from its single-sheet moulded plastic chair with comfortable curves and smooth edges. The use of recycled plastic results in tiny flecks of colour throughout the main shade. The chair base is made from maple and black steel, with plastic feet and felt gliders to protect hard floors.

The Plastic Armchair DAW RE Black Maple Base has a width of 62.5cm, a height of 83cm, a depth of 60cm and a seat height of 43cm. The armrest height is 68cm and the weight is 6kg. The chair is designed to be 100% recyclable in line with the sustainable ethos of the brand and is ideal for all lounges, living areas and workspaces. Accessorise with the accompanying Vitra cushions as required for added comfort and personalisation.
