The Occasional Table LTR Side Table was designed by Ray and Charles Eames for the brand Vitra.

Most famous for their eponymous chairs, the Eames were the power couple of furniture design for decades. They created in all genres, from adaptable cabinets to pathbreaking houses and sumptuous lounge chairs. But they also worked on a more day-to-day scale, coming up with practical furnishings that everyone can enjoy. Recreated by Vitra, the Occasional Table LTR Side Table falls into this category, offering luxury and functionality in equal measure.

A folding table which can be easily packed away when not in use, this occasional table will be a handy item to have in reserve. The rectangular tabletop is available in an array of materials, including cherry, walnut, and oiled oak, as well as a variety of colours. All come with richly textured grain, which is exposed around the side of the table, creating a neat contrast with the laminated surface. The table measures 39 x 25 x 33 cm, making it compact and easy to store. Whenever a little extra space is needed, it will be a stylish option to choose. As with all Eames products, it possesses effortless style, evoking the golden age of American design.
