Wire Chair DKX-5

The Wire Chair DKX-5 was designed by Charles and Ray Eames for the Vitra label.

Charles Eames and his wife Ray are the unofficial king and queen of mid-century furniture designers. As a California-based couple, their pieces are collectable items, which was proven during a major Wright House auction in Chicago in 2010, where some of their work fetched extraordinary prices. The dynamic duo married in 1941. Their striking designs were originally manufactured from their own designed machinery.
