The Kyoto Rug 200x80cm has been created by A D Miller for the brand Woud. Structure, warmth and style are some of the things rugs add to a space. The Kyoto Rug 200x80cm does that with timeless elegance with its minimalist design and neutral colour that makes it suitable for any room in a house or commercial space like an office.
The carpet's design of straight lines running across it is inspired by Japanese meditation or zen gardens that are world famous. They originated from the country's city of Kyoto. From here, they were replicated in other parts of the country and the world. They also inspired industrial designers who sought to celebrate them with their designs. The lines represent the precise order that rocks and sand have in zen gardens to create the look and feel of peace and order to facilitate meditation. It is hand-tufted which means its fibres are pulled up to create a pile or layer that feels soft and plush to step on. It is made of a blend of 80% wool and 20% cotton which also makes it warm and durable.
The Kyoto Rug 200x80cm has a length of 200cm and a width of 80cm. It comes in grey.
