Product description

This Melampo Mega Floor Lamp was created by Adrien Gardère for the Artemide label. This beautifully designed household lamp is elegantly composed and deceptively simple.

Founded in 1960 by Ernesto Gismondi and Sergio Mazza, Artemide has a reputation for creating high quality pieces. They also provide a platform for leading European talents, and Adrien Gardère is a great example. One of the world's leading museum designers, Gardère's gained his experience in furniture design. In fact, the Melampo Mega Floor Lamp bridges the two worlds, having earned a place in Paris' Musée des Arts Décoratifs.

Unveiled in 2000, the Melampo collection's signature element is its tilting diffusers. Users can angle the shade to the ideal angle, ensuring optimal light for reading or socialising. Aside from the pivoting head, the Melampo Mega Floor Lamp has a classical streamlined composition, standing 174cm tall.

The diffuser is made from lightweight zamak alloy, and measures 57cm across, while the lamp requires a pair of E27 bulbs. It will fit neatly into contemporary studies, bedrooms or living rooms. Wherever a stylish and versatile floor lamp is required, this Melampo floor lamp will be ideal.
