The Montjuic Floor Lamp was designed by Santiago Calatrava for Artemide.
Milanese lighting manufacturer Artemide has over 50 years experience of producing stunning designs that encompass durability, sustainability and innovation. The brand works closely with a number of award-winning designers such as Santiago Calatrava, a Spanish sculptor, engineer and architect who is celebrated for his biomorphic industrial designs.
The striking Montjuic Floor Lamp is formed of a forked base and tilted stand, made from lacquered polyurethane resin. The top of the stand holds up an asymmetrical conical lamp shade made from methacrylate. Part of the brand's 'Masterpieces Collection', the lamp was designed back in 1990 and has remained in production ever since, popular for both its innovative look, clean lines and excellent functionality. The lamp measures 190 cm in height and features a foot dimmer so the soft, scattered illumination can be adjusted to the user's needs.
The versatile Montjuic Floor Lamp is a statement product that can be placed in a living area, bedroom or study. This lamp requires a Halogen Rod Bulb which can be found on the product accessory pages.
