Surf Wall Lamp

The Surf Wall Lamp has been created by Neil Poulton for the brand Artemide. Sitting unobtrusively on a wall, it is not immediately apparent that this fixture is a lamp. It could pass for a wall-mounted shelf. Only when it is turned on is it revealed that it is a wall lamp with a refined, minimalistic design.

The Surf Wall Lamp is shaped like a block. It is made of aluminium that is finished with varnish. It is reinforced with an electronic ballast that attaches the lamp to a wall support. It also has a protective glass plate that shields it from dust and protects the light source from damage. It uses a rod rather than a bulb as a light source. Using energy-efficient bulbs will make this lamp an eco-friendly and cost-effective option. It casts indirect light upwards.

The Surf Wall Lamp has a length of 30cm, a width of 17.4cm and a height of 4.5cm. It is not dimmable. The lamp is available in neutral colours. It is made for indoor use and is suitable for use in homes and commercial spaces like hotels and institutions like schools and hospitals.
