The charming and functional Campo - Pluviometer was designed by the renowned German design studio Floz for the acclaimed producer Blomus. Established in 1989 by Oliver Wahl and Peter Golz, the multi-disciplinary team specialise in the design of homeware, lighting, product design and art direction. Unsurprisingly, since the studio's inception, they have built an impressive portfolio, collaborated with Europe's finest designers and received broad acclaim from the design community both within the borders of Europe and beyond. The design team focus their attention on outstanding craftsmanship, aesthetic design and the use of sustainable materials in production.
The clever and innovative Campo - Pluviometer is constructed from acrylic glass and stainless steel, which ensures that it will not be damaged by inclement weather conditions. The fluted glass instrument both collects and gauges water levels, thereby allowing gardeners or those interested to accurately monitor the level of rainfall within a specific period. The unit can be placed in the garden, terrace or window box to gain readings, however, it needs to be emptied daily in order to obtain an accurate reading. The Campo - Pluviometer by Blomus measures 76 x 9 cm.
