LZF Lamps - the abbreviation that many design-conscious people associate with creative and extraordinary lamps made of wood, actually stands for Luzifer. The company was started in 1994 in Valencia’s old town where two designers got together to make lamp shades by hand from wood veneer.
How to make nature glow
Today, LZF Lamps design studio is based in a historical vineyard close to Valencia. Every single lamp is meticulously made by hand. Thanks to co-operation with renowned designers, this company is now known as one of the global market leaders in the area of designer lamps. Together with Ray Power, the company tries to work out the mathematical puzzle of the Möbius strip, while the art form of visual art is revived in co-operation with interior designer Remedios Simon.
Creations as beautiful as nature
The Dandelion LED pendant light was designed by Burkhard Dämmer. The design won the German Design Award 2017, and can be seen as one big light or a compilation of many small lamps. The LEDs are hidden in the individual conical lamp shades, which, in turn, make one big ball. While organic shapes dominate the last model, LZF Lamps shows that it can also come up with geometrical designs. The Cuad SM LED pendant light will win you over with graphic sobriety that radiates warm light nevertheless.
