The 646 Leggera Chair with Padded Seat has been created by Gio Ponti for the brand Cassina. Leggera means 'light' in Italian, and that's exactly what this armchair is. Crafted with skill, Leggera is simple and pure, with no excessive decorative flourishes. It makes fine use of natural wood, while allowing light to flow through the design, brightening spaces and avoiding the feeling of clutter.

The 646 Leggera Chair with Padded Seat has a four-legged design with a two-ribbed horizontal footrest, a square seat section, and a raised backrest with two bands. The frame of the chair has been formed from sustainably harvested ash wood, and the natural grain of the material has been exposed, adding a beautiful texture to the overall look. The wood also contrasts with a range of padded upholstery styles. Options vary from blue Uni Melange 13O618 fabric to Champ 13F355 - and all have been chosen to sit well with the tone of natural ash.

The 646 Leggera Chair with Padded Seat has a seat height of 46cm and a total height of 85cm. The seat section measures 45cm wide and 47cm deep, and it has been designed with no bezels around the edge, ensuring a unified, flawless profile.
