The Italian designer Enzo Catellani founded the small company "Catellani & Smith", which designs and produces lights. Shortly after his first catalogue "oggetti senza tempo" is available. With the collections "Turciu" and "Albero della Luce" he started producing lights with different long flexing arms, which allow the buyer many options to design and style individually.
In 1995 he designs the "Luce d´Oro" series. Lights as "Macchina della Luce" takes centre stage of this collection.
In 1997 Enzo Catellani creates the "Stchu-Moon" series. He designs "Luce Nera" in 2000 and the "Out Collection" with the lights "Fil de Fer", "Luna Nel Pozzo" and "Luce Che Dipinge" in 2002.
