Glen Oliver Löw was born in Leverkusen, Germany in 1959. After taking his degree in industrial design at the Bergische Universität in Wuppertal and a Master degree in design at the Domus Academy in Milan, he worked with Antonio Citterio from 1987 onwards. In 1990, he became a partner in the studio "Antonio Citterio & Partners".

In collaboration with Antonio Citterio, Löw has designed a large number of products for companies such as Ansorg, Flos, Hackman, Kartell, Maxdata, Olivetti, Vitra, and Vitrashop, for which he has won numerous prizes and awards.
The "Mobil" storage system and the "Battista" folding table from Kartell are a part of the permanent design collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York. In 1995 they received the Compasso d'Oro award for the "Mobil" container system for Kartell.
As a corporate designer, Löw was responsible for creating a new corporate design image for Commerzbank branches in 1996, and in 1998, he won the competition for the interior design of the showrooms for the Smart car.

Since 2000, Glen Oliver Löw has been professor of product design and product development at the Hochschule für Bildende Künste in Hamburg. He works in his own design studio for companies such as Ansorg, Hackman, Steelcase, and Thonet.
