The French designer Inga Sempé was born in Paris, in 1968. She graduated from l'Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Création Industrielle (ENSCI) in Paris in 1993.
Following Inga Sempé has worked for Marc Newson (1994) and Andrée Putman (1997-1999).
From 2000 to 2001 she was scholarship holder at the Villa Medici, Academy of France in Rome. She opened her own studio in Paris in 2000. She was awarded Grand Prix of creation of Paris for design in 2003.
Her client list includes such as Edra, Cappellini, Ligne Roset, Magis, Pallucco and Baccarat.
