Vicente Garcia Jiménez was born in Valencia, Spain in 1978.
He graduated in Industrial Design from the University of Experimental Sciences of Castellón de la Plana (Spain).
In 2000 he moved to Barcelona, where he worked with Santa & Cole developing products of lighting and interior furniture. During this period awaked his interest for the atmospheres created by the objects, making his firsts prototypes of lighting and furniture.
In 2003 Jiménez moved to Milan where he started collaborating with the architect Enrico Franzolini. Franzolini proposed him to project a lighting collection for the company Karboxx.
It was in 2005 when he took in charge the Artistic Direction of the young lighting firm Fambuena, which was presented to the world at Lighting+Building 2006 in Frankfurt, Germany.
Also in 2005 he founded his own studio in Udine (Italy) where he centres on the design and industrial development of lighting and furniture products, interiors and installations.
Vicente Garcia Jiménez collaborates with companies such as Fambuena, Foscarini, Karboxx, Pallucco Italia and Tacchini.
