Roly Poly Green Garden Armchair

The Roly Poly Green Garden Armchair has been created by Toogood Faye for the brand Driade. Sculpted artfully from recycled monobloc plastic, Roly Poly has a monumental quality with its simple shapes and bold outline. But it mixes clarity and strength with an attention to comfort, providing a wonderful place to relax outdoors.

The Roly Poly Green Garden Armchair consists of a bowl shaped shell resting upon four cyindrical legs. The chair is formed from a single piece of rotationally moulded polyethylene, a material which partially gives the product its name. This process also ensures that the chair has a unified appearance, with no obvious joining sections. The polyethylene has been given an attractive matt finish, with a black colour scheme that matches the solidity and force of the design well.

The Roly Poly Green Garden Armchair measures 84cm wide and 57cm deep, while it has a maximum height of 63cm. The large bowl shaped seat has been raised 32cm above the ground, providing a space to sink into and unwind, whether the armchair is used on patios and terraces, balconies, conservatories or lawns. The chair is totally suited for outdoor uses, with waterproof surfaces and UV-resistant materials.
