The Fatboy Edison The Giant Floor lamp was designed by Fatboy for the brand Fatboy.

The brand is Dutch and was founded in the year 2000. Its initial product was the well-known beanbag. Its offering has widened to include unique products for the entire home, from tables to lamps to chairs. These iconic products are available worldwide. According to the brand's website, "all products are designed with one goal: escaping the daily routine with a big smile".

Edison is a range of lamps produced under the brand, starting with the small "Petite", to the medium-size, to "the Grand", or "Big Brother". The manufacturer labels the Fatboy Edison The Giant Floor lamp as "massive" - it measures 182cm in height and 58cm in diameter. The lamp is designed to be suitable for indoor or outdoor use, providing a statement light source for conversation, reading or play. A sophisticated range of shade colours are available to fit all interiors or exteriors. The shade is intriguing, being closed at the bottom and the top, with the distinctive red designer's tag serving as the power switch. The support stand is sleek aluminium and steel.
