Alas Vase

The Alas Vase has been created by ferm LIVING for the brand ferm LIVING. Its name Alas is Spanish and it translates to wing. It was inspired by its shape which is very innovative and unusual for a vase.

The Alas Vase is made of mouth-blown glass. It is made by hand so no two pieces look exactly alike. It has a round opening and a similarly shaped body. At the bottom, it has a round base that steadies it on the table. The most visually striking part of this piece is the wing-shaped additions on either side. They cover the vase from top to bottom and have the detail of openings along their length.

The Alas Vase has a width of 24cm, a height of 25cm and a depth of 13cm. It is available in coloured glass. Even without a colourful bouquet of flowers or lush greenery in it, this vase makes quite a statement wherever it is placed. If not for yourself, it will make a beautiful gift for a loved one. Washing it by hand instead of a dishwasher is recommended to avoid chipping or damaging it.
